Job Detail
- Assemble and install commercial HVAC systems, which include any HVAC equipment, ductwork and piping per plans, specs, submittals and best practices
- Read and understand blueprints, addendums, design specifications and shop drawings to be followed in the construction or assembly of air and hydronic systems and all HVAC products being installed
- Coordinate installation of the HVAC systems with the builder and other trades
- Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, contractors, and fabrication shop to complete projects on a timely basis and within budget
- Maintain tools, supplies and/or company equipment to ensure availability of equipment in safe operating conditions
- Adhere to company safety procedures and policy, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and operation of company vehicles and equipment
- Climb ladders, scaffolding, and use of man lifts to perform work duties
- Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- 5+ years of recent and consecutive HVAC installation experience
- Proficient in all HVAC design and installation of duct and piping systems
- Provide own small hand tools
- Good mechanical aptitude, effective time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record (5 years)
