Position: Hvac Installer

Position summarythe hvac installation associate position replaces, modifies, and/or installs air conditioners and heaters, to meet or exceed the manufacturer’s recommendations, croaker heating and air’s standards and local codes.

$20 – $28 an hour

Work-Related History of 2 Years is required

Diploma or GED required~ Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC Installation experience required~ NATE Certified, Indoor Air Quality, and Sales experience a plus~ Must possess current state driver’s license and a clean driving record~ EPA Certification is a plus~~ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS~~ Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, sitting, or walking~ Must be able to lift at least 50lbs~ Will be in proximity to hazardous conditions, equipment, and situations~ Employees may be exposed to moderate levels of noise and wildlife – birds, rodents, etc| (living and/or dead)~ Wear safety attire, such as goggles or other protective clothing~ Could be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and distracting~ Work in high or elevated places~ Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential requirements~~ COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY~ As an equal opportunity employer committed to meeting the needs of a multigenerational and multicultural workforce, Croaker Heating And Air recognizes that a diverse staff, reflective of our community, is an integral and welcome part of a successful and ethical business.

• Install heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers
• Travel to job sites in service area and work with the dispatch team to ensure the schedule is maintained
• Provide exceptional service by communicating regularly with the homeowner throughout the installation process
• Utilize an iPad to debrief and enter relevant information
• Participate in company-provided training opportunities on the latest industry technologies
• COMPETENCIES
• Good customer service skills- must be friendly and approachable, good communicator and professional
• High attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work
• Time management skills
• Ability to problem-solve to effectively troubleshoot HVAC systems for installation and repair
• Must have mechanical skills and understanding of tools needed to complete work on machines
• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC Installation experience required
