Job Detail
- Load system-level controller software and verify proper operation of connected devices.
- Perform commissioning tasks and diagnostics on sensors, actuators, and system controllers.
- Calibrate equipment using basic electronic test tools to ensure accurate system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues.
- Respond to warranty service calls and deliver efficient, customer-focused solutions.
- Communication Documentation
- Keep contractors, customers, and internal teams updated on project progress, issues, and next steps.
- Complete commissioning documents, change logs, time sheets, expense reports, and on-site notes.
- Provide clear, accurate information for as-built documentation after system adjustments.
- Communicate with the customer upon arrival and before leaving the worksite to ensure alignment.
- Safety Standards
- Follow all required safety policies and attend scheduled safety training sessions.
- Maintain a strong focus on both personal safety and the safety of others on-site.
- What You Bring
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Experience using hand and power tools (drills, saws, etc.).
- Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate commissioning tools/software.
- Strong attention to detail—especially when documenting work.
- Good communication and listening skills when working with customers, contractors, and team members.
- Depending on the region, the ability to obtain required low-voltage mounting/termination licensing.
- Additional Details
- Driving Required: Yes — you’ll use your personal vehicle to travel to job sites.
- Mileage: Fully reimbursed.
- Work Environment: On-site. this is not a remote position.
