- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, skid steers, and occasional dozers
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and other construction activities.
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment around equipment and work sites.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries on-site.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate operations and ensure project timelines are met.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and dump trucks.
- Mechanical knowledge related to maintenance and troubleshooting of heavy machinery.
- Construction site experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate Caterpillar equipment or similar brands is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy loads and working in outdoor environments for extended periods.
