Prospect construction is looking for operators to join our crews in montana for projects within a 3 hour radius of missoula, mt.

Job Detail
- Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company’s operating safety policies and procedures.
- Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
- Ensure company equipment, material and the worksite are maintained, kept clean and stored in a safe manner.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
- Maintain daily records.
- Inform supervisor of any repairs or maintenance requirements.
- Ability to operate equipment in a safe and effective manner to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life.
- Properly follow all company policies and procedures in accordance with the OSHA and MSHA regulations for safe working practices and environments.
- Proficiently and safely operate and maneuver heavy equipment in remote locations, variety of terrain, and ground conditions, tight spaces and around light or high-volume traffic areas.
- Qualifications:
- Ability and willingness to work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.
- Ability to walk over rough, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
- Ability to climb stairs or ladders.
- Ability to work in a variety of physical positions which include, but are not limited to, sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and walking.
- Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move or position objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Requirements:
- Ability to transport themselves to and from the worksite each day.
- Member of the Operators union or willing to join
