$26 – $36 an hour

Job Tenure of 3 Years is required

• Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of heavy construction equipment including cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery.
• Utilize OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) schematics and technical manuals to accurately identify issues and execute repairs efficiently.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, hydraulic system servicing, brake repairs, transmission work, tire service, and electrical diagnostics.
• Fabricate custom parts or modifications using welding, soldering, and hand tools to meet specific operational needs.
• Troubleshoot complex systems involving hydraulics, suspension components, air brakes, HVAC systems on equipment, and diesel engines.
• Use power tools and diagnostic equipment to perform precise repairs and alignments ensuring machinery operates safely and effectively.
• Maintain detailed service records for each piece of equipment including repair history, parts used, and scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Assist in heavy lifting operations when necessary to remove or install large components safely.
• Support safety protocols by inspecting equipment for potential hazards and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding repair status or operational issues.
• Qualifications
• Proven mechanic experience with heavy construction or industrial equipment. dealership experience is highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC systems on heavy machinery, and tire service.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex machinery issues.
• Skilled in fabrication techniques including welding and soldering. capable of using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Experience with OEM parts replacement and understanding of Caterpillar (CAT) or similar heavy equipment brands is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working in various environmental conditions.
• Valid certifications related to vehicle maintenance such as air brake certification or forklift operation are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong attention to detail. able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills to liaise with clients or team members about repair needs or project timelines.
