Job overview we are seeking a dynamic and skilled heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (hvac) technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service across a variety of property maintenance environments.

$25 – $45 an hour

Job Successes is required

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and heating equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
• Perform refrigeration repairs on commercial and industrial refrigeration systems such as ammonia refrigeration units.
• Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems including pipe fitting, leak detection, and component replacement.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for metal fabrication or repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical problems in boilers, pumps, fans, and other mechanical components to ensure efficient operation.
• Perform field service tasks including appliance repair, equipment maintenance, and property upkeep across multiple sites.
• Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and logs of all work performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working with refrigerants like ammonia or other hazardous materials.
• Assist with HVAC/R system design modifications or upgrades based on client needs or new technological standards.
• Operate company vehicles safely as a &lt.PERSON&gt. driver when traveling between job sites.
• Support emergency repairs during off-hours or urgent situations to minimize downtime for clients.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC systems with a strong mechanical background.
• Construction experience is highly desirable for installation projects involving ductwork or structural modifications.
• Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration technology—including ammonia refrigeration—and electrical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with HVAC/R equipment repair including boilers, air conditioning units, ventilation fans, and related machinery.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in appliance repair and property maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read technical diagrams accurately and follow detailed instructions for complex system repairs or installations.
• Experience operating diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong field service skills with the ability to work independently in diverse environments under tight deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. experience as a &lt.PERSON&gt. driver preferred.
• Certifications related to HVAC/R systems are advantageous. ongoing training in refrigeration or ammonia handling is encouraged.
