Overview we are seeking a skilled heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (hvac) technician to join our team.

Job Detail
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment
- Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems as needed
- Repair and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems and other specialized equipment
- Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify electrical faults and perform equipment repairs
- Assist with welding tasks for system repairs or modifications
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of work performed
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems as required
- Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC, refrigeration, or property maintenance fields
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans
- Experience with equipment repair including boilers, air conditioning units, and ammonia refrigeration systems
- Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC applications
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively
- Skilled in welding and general mechanical repairs preferred
- Familiarity with construction practices related to HVAC installation projects
- Experience in field service operations with a focus on appliance repair or maintenance services
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for travel between job sites
- Additional skills such as boiler operation, mechanic experience, or expertise in HVAC/R are advantageous
