Job Brief

Qualifications
Diploma in releted field is required
Job Detail
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred
- Prior Installation Experience required
- 1+ years of service technician experience required
- EPA Certification required
- Must possess a valid Tennessee Driver’s License required
- Able to pass a background check to include criminal history driving record
- Pass drug test
- SKILLS
- Excellent written, verbal interpersonal skills
- Have basic computer skills and the ability to navigate digital tools (dispatching software, iPad, phone)
- Solder/Brazing skills
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Physically agile, dexterous and able to work in confined spaces
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently
- Willing to work overtime
- Willing to work some weekends on a rotating basis as needed
- Willingness to learn and be a part of a team
- Possess a positive attitude
- Maintain a safety mindset and acceptance of a safety culture
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE
- Must be able to work at heights, rooftops, and be able to climb ladders and stairways
- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide maintenance, troubleshoot and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems (HVAC) such as furnaces and cooling systems
- Fixing, replacing and adjusting vents and ductwork
- Explain each service and repair performed to dispatch/customer
- Inspection of area for cleanliness after job completion
- Order pickup replacements for equipment parts as required
- Transport parts, materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned items
- Provide writ10and verbal diagnosis and suggested repairs using dispatch and invoicing software
- Sell and setup preventative maintenance agreement plans to interested customers
- Elicit customer feedback through reviews such as on Google, dispatching software, and social media
- Grow professionally in skills and knowledge through continuing education, on-the job-training, and professional development
- Keep service vehicle stocked with necessary tools, parts, and equipment needed for jobs
- Track service vehicle mileage and alert manager when vehicle maintenance is due
- Maintains company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Health and Safety Act
- Adheres to all company policies, both verbal and written, and as outlined in the company’s handbook
- Other duties as assigned
- Pay: $25 – $33 per hour
