Job Detail
- Install glass in windows, doors, skylights, and other structures according to specifications.
- Measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions.
- Prepare surfaces for glass installation by cleaning and applying necessary adhesives or sealants.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of glass installations.
- Collaborate with contractors and other construction personnel on remodeling projects.
- Fabricate custom glass pieces as required for unique installations.
- Assemble frames and supports for glass installations using metal stud framing techniques.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations on construction sites while performing duties. Experience Proven experience in glazing or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction painting techniques is a plus.
- Experience in cabinet installation and general remodeling is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment on construction sites.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics are essential.
