Diploma or equivalent~ 2+ years working directly with generator systems~ 2+ years troubleshooting and repairing power generation equipment using standard safety procedures~ ~ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS~ ~ 2-year technical training program completion, or completion of a 3 year apprenticeship~ Trained on industrial power generation equipment~ Knowledge of engines, generators and load transfer equipment~ Demonstrate technical knowledge of electrical generator systems and related engine mechanical failures.
Job Detail
- Adhere to and promote all company safety protocols, maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Actively engage in accident prevention initiatives and contribute to ongoing safety improvement efforts to foster a culture of workplace safety
- Travel within an assigned region to designated sites and perform professional quality field service repairs consistent with company standards
- Keep Generator Service Manager continually apprised of current priorities to assist in answering customer questions and problems when necessary
- Action requests for procurement of needed materials to perform assigned duties
- Document detailed, complete and correct descriptions of all repair operations performed
- Accurately record time, expenses, and mileage
- Lift up to 40 lbs. pushing and pulling a maximum force of 40 lbs
- Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and provided by AWS
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card upon hiring.

The base pay for this position ranges from $68,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $152,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
