Job Detail
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and vehicle inspections
- Perform diagnostic testing to identify mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools
- Repair and replace vehicle components using hand tools and power tools
- Assist with vehicle repairs including brake work, suspension, engine diagnostics, and other mechanical repairs
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to customers
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Support sales efforts by recommending additional services or repairs when appropriate
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Heavy lifting of vehicle parts or equipment as needed during repairs or maintenance tasks
- Requirements
- Previous dealership experience or automotive service background preferred
- Proven mechanic experience with knowledge of automotive repair procedures
- Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Experience performing oil changes, alignments, tire services, and general vehicle maintenance
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge combined with a commitment to quality workmanship is essential
