  • Operate a tanker trucks deliver fuel across designated routes.
  • Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal paths to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to identify maintenance needs or safety issues, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels.
  • Load and secure fr8properly to prevent shifting during transit. handle various types of cargo including hazardous materials when qualified.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports. communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered on the route.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations related to commercial driving and fuel transport.
  • &lt.Qualifications&gt.
  • Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, tanker trucks, flatbeds, or refrigerated trailers. delivery driver experience is highly valued.
  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements appropriate for tanker or hazardous materials if required.
  • Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely.
  • Familiarity with load securing techniques and fr8handling procedures.
  • Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
  • Experience with route driving planning and navigation tools to optimize delivery schedules.
