Job summary we are seeking a skilled or “willing to learn” framing carpenter to join our construction team! in this vital role, you will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of buildings, ensuring precision and safety at every step.

Job Detail
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing plans and metal building erection projects.
  • Construct wall frames, roof trusses, floor systems, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools.
  • Install metal studs, siding, stucco, drywall, trim carpentry, and other finishing elements to ensure a polished final product.
  • Erect steel structures and coordinate with heavy equipment operators for precise placement of large components.
  • Perform concrete forming tasks including rebar installation, form setup, and concrete finishing to support foundational work.
  • Execute masonry work such as laying bricks or blocks when required for project specifications.
  • Operate heavy machinery safely for site preparation, material handling, and structural assembly.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Manage construction schedules effectively by coordinating with project managers and other tradespeople.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed throughout each project phase.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in framing carpentry with a strong background in frame carpentry, metal stud framing, roofing, siding, plastering, and remodeling projects.
  • Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with an eye for detail.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels. power tools including drills, nail guns. and heavy equipment operation when necessary.
  • Knowledge of concrete forming techniques including rebar installation and finishing processes.
  • Familiarity with masonry work—laying bricks or blocks—and welding skills are a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout long workdays.
  • Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety standards and quality control.
  • Strong understanding of construction management principles to coordinate tasks efficiently across multiple trades.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt plans based on site conditions or unforeseen challenges.
