Job Detail
- Promotes safety by leading by example, participating in safety engagement and following all safety guidelines/procedures
- Stock primary and slitter machines and roll wrap with required material and remove processed stock
- Move and dump waste carts from primaries and slitter machines
- Uses computer to prepare slitter specifications and to check inventory
- Performs safety checks and changes LP tanks
- Monitor poly car, switch compartments, log compartment changes (requires climbing)
- Load scrap/junk material
- Regular and reliable attendance
We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or GED, or combination of education and experience - Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Solid computer skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Previous fork truck operation experience
- Ability to sit for 12 hours and to climb up and off fork truck
- Communicate in a courteous and positive manner
- Must have the ability to wear personal protective equipment including ear plugs, safety glasses and steel toe shoes
Shift Details:
A Crew, 12 Hour Day Shift, Rotating 2-2-3 This position will work a 12-hour shift on a compressed work schedule working 3 days one week and 4 the next week, including every other weekend
