Overview we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented flooring installer to join our construction team.
Salary Detail
$24.21 – $29.16 an hour

Job Detail
- Install various types of flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile with precision and attention to detail
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors or existing flooring as needed
- Use hand tools and power tools such as caulking guns, saws, drills, and buffing equipment to complete installations
- Perform trim carpentry tasks including baseboards and moldings to ensure seamless finishing
- Install fixtures, cabinetry, or other related components as part of remodeling or renovation projects
- Conduct water damage restoration tasks including drying, sealing, and restoring affected areas when required
- Apply floor care techniques such as buffing or sealing to enhance durability and appearance
- Assist with construction estimating for project planning and material procurement when necessary
- Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to safety standards and proper disposal of debris
- Experience
- Proven experience in flooring installation, tile laying, or related construction fields
- Familiarity with construction estimating and blueprint reading is highly desirable
- Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety protocols
- Hands-on skills with hand tools, power tools, caulking, carpentry, and fixture installation
- Background in restoration industry work such as water damage restoration or general remodeling projects is advantageous
- Knowledge of schematics and construction drawings for accurate project execution
- Previous maintenance person experience including painting, concrete finishing, or cabinet installation is beneficial
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high-quality standards
