Job Detail
- Repair and Diagnostics: Perform preventative maintenance (PMs), complex diagnostics, and repair work on a mixed fleet including: Class 8 Semi-Trucks
- Box Trailers
- Heavy-duty and Light-duty Pickup Trucks
- Passenger Vehicles/Vans Engine Expertise: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair both diesel and gasoline engines.
- Regulatory Compliance: Conduct thorough PA State and/or Federal vehicle safety inspections and emission tests as required.
- Documentation: Accurately document all maintenance and repair activities, parts usage, and inspection results.
- Facility Care: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Required Qualifications: Licensure: Valid PA State and/or Federal Vehicle Inspection License is mandatory.
- Experience: Proven experience repairing and maintaining a mixed fleet of heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles (e.g, semi-trucks, trailers, pickups).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of vehicle systems (e.g, hydraulics, air brakes, electrical systems).
- Physical Requirements: Must be willing and able to perform repairs both inside the garage and outdoors, working in varying weather conditions (including hot and cold temperatures). Compensation:
- Compensation for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. $25-$35/hour.
