- Install fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
- Conduct inspections and maintenance on existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure proper functionality
- Perform testing of fire sprinklers and backflow prevention devices
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with fire sprinkler systems as they arise
- Coordinate with project managers and general contractors on job sites to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, service, and repairs performed on fire sprinkler systems
- Stay updated on NFPA standards and regulations related to fire protection and sprinkler systems
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus- NICET 2 certification in Fire Protection is required
- Proven experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of fire protection systems and NFPA codes and standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
