Job Detail
  • Install, inspect, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems according to industry standards and codes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to fire sprinkler layouts.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques (MIG, FCAW, TIG) to assemble piping and sprinkler components.
  • Perform pipe bending, soldering, caliper measurements, and tube fitting to ensure precise installation.
  • Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to identify leaks or malfunctions.
  • Follow ASME codes standards and maintain compliance with all safety regulations during installation and maintenance activities.
  • Assist with rigging, assembly, plumbing connections, and system commissioning on construction sites.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and parts used for each project.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
  • Requirements
  • Proven experience in fire sprinkler fitting or related construction trades. construction site experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG (FCAW), TIG welding, as well as pipe threading and soldering.
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, HVAC systems, pipeline installation, and mechanical principles.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, calipers, tube benders, and rigging equipment safely and effectively.
  • Familiarity with ASME codes standards relevant to piping and sprinkler systems.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for system installation.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in system assembly and troubleshooting tasks.
