Job Detail
- Conduct client consultations to assess needs and project scope
- Design, install, and maintain seasonal color plantings in window boxes, containers, and garden beds across Charleston
- Install, maintain, and repair drip irrigation systems
- Identify and address pest issues, apply controls, and manage fertilization
- Collaborate with installation, maintenance, and irrigation teams as needed
- Recognize and suggest opportunities to enhance serviced properties
- Maintain greenhouse and plant areas, including watering, weeding, organizing, fertilizing, and pest control
- Care for tools and equipment, and keep vehicles clean and organized
- Work both independently and as part of a team of gardeners
- Maintain excellent communication and relationships with customers
- Report to the Color+ Director Requirements 2+ years of hands-on horticulture or gardening experience
- Valid drivers license
- Strong desire to learn and contribute to a team environment
- Creativity and a keen eye for design, including color, texture, scale, and dimension
- Familiarity with seasonal plants suited to the Charleston region
- Working knowledge of drip irrigation systems and controllers
- Organized, detail-oriented, and strong time management skills
- Excellent communication skills with supervisors, colleagues, and clients
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to company goals
