Job Detail
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • One (1) year of technical trade school or equivalent training in building maintenance


    Essential Job Functions:

    In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements


  • Perform daily rounds through areas of responsibility, make repairs as required and/ or trouble-shoot equipment and/or facility problems
  • Perform basic plumbing work (shutting off valves, unclogging of toilets, leaks, etc)
  • Perform basic electrical work (resetting breakers, changing ballasts, light bulb replacements, switch replacements, etc)
  • Perform basic HVAC work (preventive maintenance of air units, etc)
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems on a scheduled basis
  • Consult with customer departments on equipment replacement, facility renovations and/or interior improvement
  • Coordinate with vendors or contractors to coordinate necessary facility repairs or renovations
  • Maintain complete documentation of work orders, status and progress

    Schedule Requirements

    This role requires regular and sustained attendance
  • The position necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts
  • On-call work be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs

  • Fine-Finger Movements (Continuously): Picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than using the whole hand as in handling
