Position: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Brief
The property management & dairy facilities handyman is responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks across company-managed properties and agricultural/dairy facilities.

Job Detail
  • · Perform routine repairs and maintenance for residential and commercial rental properties (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, appliance repairs).

  • · Complete tenant work orders and service requests promptly and professionally.
  • *
  • · Assist with unit turnovers, including patching, painting, fixture replacements, and basic cleaning.

  • · Conduct inspections of properties and common areas to identify safety issues and needed repairs.
  • *
  • · Maintain exterior grounds including light landscaping, fence repairs, and snow/ice removal as needed.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on barns, parlors, feed systems, water systems, corrals, and related structures.
  • Troubleshoot and repair agricultural equipment and machinery when needed.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance to reduce downtime of dairy operations.
  • Support facility upgrades, construction projects, and installations.
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding for equipment repair, fabrication, and structural reinforcement.
  • Repair and fabricate gates, fencing, feed bunks, and metal structures used in dairy and property facilities.
  • Ensure all welding work meets safety and durability standards.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests both on properties and facilities.
  • Maintain records of completed work, supplies used, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs or large-scale projects.
  • Adhere to company safety standards and maintain tools/equipment in proper working order.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish
  • Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay: $20 – $28 per hour
  • Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
