EXPERIENCED TRIM CARPENTER / Shop Lead
LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCED Master Trim Carpenter / Shop Lead (Minimum 6 Years Experience)
We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Master Trim Carpenter ready to step into a Shop Lead role at MBRK Cabins. You will be instrumental in delivering the luxury finish standards of our steel-protected, factory-built ranch cabins. This position offers the stability of an indoor factory environment while challenging your skills on high-end, custom interiors.
Location: Joshua, Texas
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Saturday work available 6:AM – 11:00 AM

About the Role:
We’re looking for experienced motivated individuals to join our Cabin Building Team! This is a factory-based position, all work is completed at our facility, so there’s no travel from job site to job site.
The Opportunity: Setting the Quality Standard
You will be the final authority on the finish quality, responsible for ensuring every detail—from custom cabinetry to intricate trim work—meets our “Guest Ready” standard. You will also serve as a mentor and working leader for our finishing crew.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Trim and Finish: Direct and execute all finish carpentry, including installing custom doors, windows, millwork, and high-end cabinetry with precision.
Quality Control & Mentoring: Set the quality pace for the final assembly stage and actively mentor junior carpenters on advanced finishing techniques and blueprint interpretation.
Inter-Trade Collaboration: Work directly with the Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing teams to ensure precise cut-outs and integration around all utility systems.
Blueprint Execution: Proficiently read and interpret complex shop drawings and construction blueprints to execute custom client specifications.
Cross-train with other teams, gaining valuable hands-on experience in our full factory build process, from framing to final inspection.
Ensure the work environment is clean, efficient, and meets all safety standards.
Qualifications
Minimum 6 years of verifiable experience in precision trim carpentry, custom cabinet installation, or high-end residential finishing.
Proven ability to lead or supervise a small crew in a construction or shop environment.
Highly Desirable: Familiarity or hands-on experience with basic residential electrical, HVAC, and/or plumbing installation is a significant asset.
Exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal communication skills for team instruction and coordination.
Ability to perform physical construction tasks for extended periods.
