Job Detail
- Construct custom picture frames according to client specifications and blueprints
- Measure, cut, assemble, and finish framing components with precision based off customer orders
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to complete framing projects
- Ability to communicate with me to ensure correct measurements for each order
- Install finished frames on-site or in the workshop, ensuring quality standards are met
- Collaborate with me and clients to select materials and design options
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols
- Quality and handmade work is essential
- Perform some heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely
- Skills
- Adequate experience in picture framing construction and assembly
- Strong background in carpentry, trim carpentry, and frame carpentry techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools (e.g, saws, chisels) and power tools (e.g, drills, sanders)
- Ability to receive orders and perform them as requested
- Knowledge of picture framing or ability to learn
- Familiarity with fabrication techniques including custom and unique woodworking
- Open mindedness and willing to lis10to serve clientele to the highest quality
- Capable of some heavy lifting when retrieving our custom wood orders
- Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse construction settings
- This position requires a dedicated professional with a comprehensive skill set in woodworking related fields. Candidates should demonstrate versatility across multiple trades and possess a commitment to quality workmanship.
