Job Detail
- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and water trucks on construction sites.
- Perform excavation tasks for foundations, trenches, and other site preparations.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other crew members to coordinate operations and meet project deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in horizontal drilling operations as needed.
- Operate dump trucks and tankers for material transport when required.
- Participate in paving activities as part of road construction projects.
- Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and repair.
- Experience with commercial driving is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices.
- Ability to operate additional equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and tankers is a plus.
- Knowledge of Caterpillar machinery is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
