- Job Duties: SSP Industries is looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for the operation of Excavators and/or Wheel loaders, for our underground utility division. Must be dependable and have experience. Operate equipment safety and follow the company safety guidelines. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Knowledge and ability to safely operate backhoe, 315 and 336 size excavators. • Knowledge and ability to safely operate Backhoe wheel loader, Second Compactor for our underground utility division. • Weekly overtime pay is standard for a typical work week of 50 hours at a minimum. You will typically have your weekends free as we seldom work on Saturdays. Company vehicle available, or a vehicle allowance, for key personnel. Requirements: • Excavator operators should have the physical strength and stamina to stand strenuous work environments, be able to work well as part of a team and have good decision-making skills. • Time management – This job requires the ability to complete work projects in an efficient manner and to strict schedules. Applicants need to have good time management skills and be organized. • Team-work – Excavator operators work closely with other team members and construction workers. Must have strong interpersonal skills. • Must be dependable and have experience. Operate equipment safety and follow the company safety guidelines.
