Job Detail
- Operate excavators, backhoes, skid loaders, and all other earth moving equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment.
- Move earth/soil and other building materials as required.
- Work with various types of pipe and demonstrate product knowledge.
- Use signals and operate ISO ASE (Cat/JD Controls) for precision movements.
- Travel for local and out-of-town projects as needed.
- Maintain a safe work environment and avoid inappropriate risks. Qualifications Two years of experience operating earth moving equipment
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Can safely lift up to 60 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, and climb out of ditches
- Good team communication skills
- Must wear proper protective equipment at all times
- Reliable transportation to travel to jobsites
- Valid state Driver’s License
- Experience with pipework
- OSHA 10-Hour certification is a plus Knowledge and Skills Strong understanding of construction equipment operations
- Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
