Job Detail
- Safely operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, backhoes, and loaders
- Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and backfilling tasks
- Assist with foundation prep and concrete-related operations
- Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance needs
- Read grade stakes and follow instructions from the crew foreman or site supervisor
- Load and unload materials as required
- Work closely with crew members to maintain efficient workflow
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
- Maintain clean and organized equipment/work areas
- Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment on construction sites
- Ability to perform excavation, grading, and site prep with precision
- Knowledge of equipment safety procedures and basic maintenance
- Ability to read site plans, grade stakes, or take direction from supervisors
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in various outdoor conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to perform tasks associated with construction and equipment operation
