Overview join our dynamic construction team as an equipment operator and play a vital role in bringing large-scale projects to life! in this energetic position, you’ll operate a variety of heavy machinery and construction equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and precise execution of tasks on-site.

$20 – $35 an hour

Work Successes is required

• Operate a wide range of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other construction machinery to perform site preparation, grading, excavation, lifting, and material handling.
• Manage the operation of specialized vehicles such as concrete mixers, front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, tanker trucks, and farm machinery to support various construction activities.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with project managers and crew members to interpret plans and execute tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in setting up construction sites by preparing the terrain and ensuring all machinery is positioned correctly for ongoing work.
• Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, fuel consumption, maintenance activities, and safety inspections.
• Follow all safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and promote a secure work environment for every1on site.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding operational needs or issues that arise during shifts.
• Experience
• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and related machinery.
• Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with site preparation and earthmoving activities.
• Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on heavy machinery.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving large vehicles like dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks or tanker trucks preferred.
• Hands-on experience with concrete mixers or farm machinery is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites.
