Job Detail
- Maintain all building systems and structures to ensure safe, efficient operations.
- Adhere to company maintenance programs, SOPs, and local building, fire, and health regulations.
- Identify and implement energy-saving measures to support efficiency goals.
- Complete preventive maintenance and repair work orders, including replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and wall coverings.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks such as “room care” inspections.
- Inspect and maintain electrical systems, lighting, A/C controls, and televisions. make minor repairs or replacements as needed.
- Assist with routine and major repairs on equipment such as kitchen and laundry machines, HVAC systems, boilers, pool systems, and plumbing fixtures.
- Repair and refinish guest room furniture, fixtures, and cabinetry.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries or service requests.
- Work safely in environments that may involve exposure to extreme temperatures or heavy machinery.
- Maintain consistent, reliable attendance and be available for scheduled shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications and Experience
- Vocational training, military experience, or certification in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Carpentry (required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of maintenance experience (required).
- Previous hotel or hospitality maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs., stand, walk, climb, and follow work instructions (with or without reasonable accommodation).
- Strong communication skills and ability to understand verbal and writ10directions in English.
