• Responsibilities: Attend to the safe, accurate and timely service of all electrical duties.
• Adhere to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
• Repairs and performs maintenance to the hospital electrical distribution systems, hospital electrical equipment, and small electrical appliances
• Performs new electrical installation when needed and preventative maintenance checks as required.
• Maintains charts, logs, and records as required, familiar with all electric blueprints for all hospital buildings
• May be required to assist with a wide range of advanced technical journeyman-level preventive maintenance and repairs for assigned facilities and/or departments including basic plumbing, heating, ventilating, and/or air conditioning services.
• Qualifications: Job Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Four (4) years of relevant work experience
• Current Journeyman Electrician’s License
• Preferred Job Requirements
• One (1) year Vocational Training/Technical school
• Five (5) years of related work experience
