Job Detail
- Install and inspect electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes such as the NEC (National Electrical Code).
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs.
- Use hand tools (such as screwdrivers, pliers), power tools (drills, saws), and specialized testing equipment like ohmmeters and ammeters to verify system functionality.
- Perform low voltage and/or medium voltage electrical work safely on construction sites or within existing facilities.
- Collaborate with teams to coordinate installation activities effectively.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local regulations while adhering to best practices in construction and electrical work.
- Support the setup of electrical systems for new construction projects or upgrades in commercial or industrial environments.
- Requirements
- Knowledge of electrical codes such as the NEC
- Hands-on experience with construction site operations
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, meggers, and other testing devices essential for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Ability to work safely with both low voltage and medium voltage systems on active construction sites or within operational facilities.
- Pay: From $46.80 per hour
- Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
