Job Detail
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures as well as run conduit in accordance with NEC standards.
- Utilize voltmeters and ohmmeters to test electrical systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Work on high voltage systems as well as low voltage applications to ensure safe operations across various projects.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.
- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
- Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints is essential.
- Understanding of frame carpentry is a plus for integration with construction tasks.
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Must possess relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.
- Some travel is required
