- DutiesAssist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings. Your responsibilities will include preparing work areas, handling various hand and power tools safely, and supporting the installation of wiring, conduits, and fixtures according to blueprints and schematics. You will help interpret electrical diagrams, read schematics, and understand low voltage and high voltage systems as needed. On-site tasks may involve framing carpentry for electrical supports, working on construction sites with safety as a top priority, and assisting with the setup of low voltage systems under supervision. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, organizing tools and materials, and adhering to all safety protocols outlined by the NEC (National Electrical Code). Your active participation will ensure smooth project progress while gaining valuable experience in industrial and commercial electrical work.
- RequirementsCandidates should possess basic electrical experience or related construction site experience, with a strong desire to learn more about commercial electrical systems.
