Overview join our dynamic construction team as a drywall hanger and become a vital part of transforming spaces! in this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing drywall panels efficiently and accurately to create smooth, durable surfaces ready for finishing.

$150 – $200 a day

Job Tenure is required

• Measure, cut, and hang drywall panels according to project specifications and blueprints
• Secure drywall using appropriate fasteners, ensuring proper alignment and stability
• Tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall surfaces for a seamless appearance
• Read and interpret construction schematics, blueprints, and schematics to determine installation requirements
• Prepare surfaces by framing with metal studs or wood as needed before drywall installation
• Install fixtures such as electrical outlets, switches, and other hardware in drywall surfaces
• Collaborate with carpenters, plasterers, and other trades to coordinate work sequences effectively
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal daily
• Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure construction site at all times
• Assist in related tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, or minor repairs during project phases
• Support restoration industry projects involving water damage remediation or mold mitigation when required
• Requirements
• Proven experience in drywall hanging on construction sites with a solid understanding of installation techniques
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong knowledge of related skills including plastering, carpentry, metal stud framing, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, and painting techniques
• Experience with water damage restoration or mold remediation projects is advantageous
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Knowledge of safety standards relevant to construction environments and ability to adhere strictly to OSHA guidelines
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and supervisors
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks confidently
