Job Detail
- Perform visual inspections of overhead and underground electrical distribution facilities and equipment
- Collect and compile field data and prepare minor work orders
- Generate maintenance reports for distribution equipment
- Assist with storm damage assessments for overhead and underground distribution structures and equipment in various locations
Essential Skills
Data collection expertise- Experience in the electric utility and utility industry
- Proficiency in field data collection
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) or utility experience is preferred- Knowledge of computers and software applications, especially MS Office products, is desired
- A clean and valid driver’s license is required
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20- 00 – $21
- 00/hr
