Job overview join our dynamic team as a diesel service technician, where your expertise will keep our heavy-duty vehicles and equipment running smoothly! in this role, you’ll be at the forefront of diesel engine repair and maintenance, ensuring that our fleet operates at peak performance.

$18.50 – $28.50 an hour

Work Accomplishments is required

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and air brake systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, cranes, and farm machinery.
• Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and ensure optimal functionality.
• Execute fabrication tasks and welding projects to enhance equipment performance.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed for each vehicle.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and share knowledge.
• Basic qualifications
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Preferred qualifications
• Previous dealership experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, hydraulics, alignment procedures, shocks struts, and tire service.
• Experience with industrial equipment and tractor-trailer maintenance is a plus.
• Electrical experience and soldering skills are advantageous.
