Job Detail
- Perform routine maintenance(PM and LOF) and repairs as needed on semi trucks and trailers.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair brake and ABS systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues: engine, chassis, lighting, etc.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair engine and transmission fault codes
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair driveline issues
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of repairs.
- Perform exterior washes on trucks and trailers as needed.
- Provide excellent service by addressing driver maintenance concerns and answering questions.
- Maintain communication with dispatch to coordinate arrival and departure of trucks and trailers in order to have equipment ready when needed.
- What we’re looking for in a candidate:
- Experience as a Diesel Mechanic, formal training is preferred.
- Knowledge of truck and trailer brake and electrical systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Experience with welding and tire service.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members.
- First shift, Monday through Friday, with overtime opportunities available but not required.
