Job Detail
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension, and air brake systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, alignment, and replacement of shocks struts.
  • Repair and fabricate components using hand tools, power tools, welding, and soldering techniques.
  • Service heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, trailers, and farm machinery.
  • Read and interpret schematics for electrical systems and mechanical assemblies to identify issues accurately.
  • Conduct repairs on industrial equipment and automotive systems to ensure safety and compliance standards are met.
  • Assist in the assembly and disassembly of machinery parts during repairs or upgrades.
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed for custom repairs or modifications.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used. ensure all work adheres to safety protocols.
  • Requirements
  • Proven mechanic experience with heavy equipment operation and automotive repair.
  • Dealership experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair, transmissions, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Proficiency with schematics, electrical diagnostics, soldering, welding, and use of hand tools power tools.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Experience working with excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractor-trailers, farm machinery, industrial equipment, and service technician tasks.
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment or similar brands is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Valid technical certifications or ASE certifications are advantageous but not mandatory. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to quality workmanship and safety standards in a fast-paced setting. Candidates should be prepared for hands-on work involving heavy lifting and precision repairs across various machinery types to ensure operational excellence.
