- Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and service personnel to complete tasks efficiently.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies.
- Other duties as assigned Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED. technical certification or associate degree in diesel technology preferred.
- Valid driver’s license. CDL preferred but not required.
- At least 1year of experience as a diesel mechanic or in a related field.
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
- Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and components.
- Ability to lift heavy parts and work in physically demanding environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Skills
- ASE Certification(s)
- Experience with fleet maintenance
- Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems
- Welding and fabrication skills Physical Demands

Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
