Diesel Mechanic

Position: Diesel Mechanic
Company: Exxcel Services INC

Purpose under direct supervision of the lead mechanic, responsible for maintenance of cummins insite, catapillar et and detriot engines; to include engine diagnostic troubleshooting, and consistent preventive maintenance for equipment.

Work Journey of 3 Years is required

• Perform required repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Check mechanical equipment to diagnose problems, adjusting functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary or determine other actionable steps to resolve issues
• Clean, lubricate or adjust parts equipment or machinery
• Travel to the field as necessary to conduct repair work
• Compliance with all company safety policies and procedures
• Follow all operational policies, procedures and standards
• Driving company vehicles in a safe manner while observing Company and government regulations
• Performing other related duties as required Qualifications and Skills
• Required :
• Minimum 3 years’ experience
• Work experience with Cementing a plus
• Air brake experience Working conditions:
• Work is performed in all weather conditions
• Able to perform duties with protective equipment, H2S respirator where required
• Potential hazards include working near or with heavy tools and moving machinery
