Job Detail
- Emphasis on electrical diagnostics and repair, including reading and applying wiring diagrams
- Mechanical work such as replacing bearings and axle seals. resurfacing brake drums and rotors
- Rebuilds and component service: water/fuel pumps, A/C components, compressors, radiators
- Brake and suspension adjustments and realignments
- Complete system troubleshooting and repair across the vehicle
- Gasoline and diesel engine overhauls. diesel tuning and repairs
- Hydraulic system maintenance, routing/replacing lines, and leak detection
- Preventive maintenance: fluid replacements, lighting and electrical checks, exhaust component replacements
- Other duties as assigned to meet shop demands Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience in a commercial or fleet maintenance and repair shop
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. comfortable with bending, climbing, and stooping
- Own set of professional tools
- Valid Driver’s License
- Steel toe boots Compensation Schedule Pay Rate: $24-32 per hour, depending on experience
