- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles, including gasoline and diesel engines, with a heavy lean towards domestic/asian.
- Analyze automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and other electronic modules to pinpoint malfunctions accurately.
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to guide repairs and system troubleshooting.
- Keep detailed records of diagnostics performed, repairs completed, parts used, and time spent on each vehicle for transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repair services as needed in addition to the primary function of diagnostic services.
- Experience
- Extensive background in automotive repair with a verifiable track record of ongoing training throuhgout your career is highly preferred.
- High level competency with schematic interpretation and electrical troubleshooting is essential for success in this role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across a variety of systems, including powertrain, electrical systems, suspension, brakes, etc.
- Strong grasp of systems theory and diagnostic theory.
