Job Brief
We are looking for a ft delivery driver for our greenville, south carolina hospice branch.
Salary Detail
$18 – $20 an hour
Experience
Job Progression of 2 Years is required
Qualifications
Diploma in releted field is required
Job Detail
- Loads and unloads trucks as per company guidelines.
- Follow guidelines for preventative maintenance.
- Daily truck inspection. Reports any issues to supervisor.
- Delivers items to assigned destinations.
- Communicate with management any customers or routing issues.
- To establish relationships with assigned customers/accounts to ensure customer’s needs are fulfilled.
- Maintains records. driving records, customers’ receipt, etc.
- Requirements:
- Min of 2 years of driving experience or willing to train the right candidate.
- Good communication skills, dependable, and work independently.
- Flexible to accommodate hours of operation and be able to do overtime and on call when necessary.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background check, as well as physical (dot-for medical card, by our company).
- Qualifications:
- Minimum of high school diploma or related experience required. Must be able to perform basic mathematics and map reading. Good command of the English language and neat handwriting. Good personal hygiene and appearance. Must be personable, courteous, professional, and co-operative and have time management skills with the ability to problem solve. Lifting at least 50 pounds from a squatting position required.
- IF Applicable regarding CDL : To perform the essentials of your job, current non CDL license holders are required to have a current and unexpired driver’s license at all times of employment. For current CDL license holders you must have a current and unexpired CDL license at all times of employment. Also, per your offer letter (if stated) you must keep up with a current and unexpired medical card and endorsements.
