Job Detail
  • Operate and maintain crushing and screening plant systems including conveyors, screens, lubrication systems, crushers, screens, conveyors and bearings.
  • Perform preventative maintenance: cleaning, greasing, oiling, and lubricating machinery.
  • Conduct inspections of equipment, tools, machinery, and work areas.
  • Operate mobile equipment including skid steers, front-end loaders, and forklifts.
  • Perform welding (MIG, Stick, TIG), cutting, and fabrication as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and MSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
  • Monitor and adjust plant operations to ensure quality control standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational or equipment issues. communicate with co-workers and supervisors regarding solutions.
  • Keep conveyor belts, pulleys, catwalks, and surrounding areas clear of mud, dirt, rock, and debris.
  • Complete reports, documentation, and production records accurately and on time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications Experience
  • 0–2 years of industrial mechanical repair/maintenance (required).
  • Experience with plant production, rock gradation, welding, fabrication, electrical troubleshooting, and equipment repair.
  • Previous work with construction aggregate materials preferred.
  • Experience operating mobile equipment (skid steers, loaders, forklifts, excavators) preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and MSHA safety regulations (required).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to wear a full-body harness and work at heights while tied off.
  • Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions and in safety-sensitive construction settings.
  • Ability to squat, crawl, climb ladders, and work in awkward/confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull items weighing 80 lbs. or more.
  • Effective verbal and writ10communication skills.
  • Basic ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Basic welding and cutting abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
  • Valid Drivers license
  • Ability to commute daily to Catalina, Arizona
