$17.50 – $18.50 an hour

Employment Timeline of 20 Years+ is required

• Planting: Plant new shrubs according to planting plans, ensuring proper spacing, depth, and soil preparation.
• Pruning: Trim and shape shrubs to maintain their health and appearance, removing dead or damaged branches.
• Weeding: Remove weeds from around shrubs, using hand tools or herbicides as directed.
• Mulching: Apply mulch around shrubs to retain moisture, suppress weeds, and improve soil health.
• Watering: Water shrubs as needed, ensuring they receive adequate moisture, especially during dry periods.
• Fertilizing: Apply fertilizer to shrubs to promote healthy growth, following recommended application rates and timing.
• Deadheading: Remove spent flower heads from shrubs to encourage continued blooming. General Landscaping Tasks: Mowing and Edging: Assist with mowing lawns and edging around walkways, flowerbeds, and other areas.
• Lawn Care: Assist with applying fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides to lawns as needed.
• Cleanup: Pick up trash, debris, and fallen leaves from lawns and landscaped areas.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in landscaping, such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Safety: Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Skills and Abilities: Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to Follow Instructions: Ability to follow writ10and verbal instructions from supervisors and clients.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic Knowledge of Plants: Basic knowledge of plant types, needs, and common problems.
• Ability to Operate Equipment: Ability to operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in landscaping.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to pay attention to detail and ensure that work is completed to a high standard.
• Customer Service: Ability to provide a positive and professional customer service experience.
