Job Detail
- Develop and design comprehensive lift plans using 3D Lift Plan software, focusing on intricate lifts involving spreader bars, rolling blocks, cables, and shackles.
- Analyze project specifications and site conditions to create effective lifting solutions that prioritize safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and crane operators to ensure plans are practical and achievable.
- Perform structural and w8calculations to ensure reliability and safety in crane operations.
- Conduct Safety Side Audits visits, assess working conditions, and provide recommendations for lift plans.
- Review and update lift plans as necessary to accommodate changes in project scope or site conditions.
- Stay current with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices to ensure compliance in all lift operations.
- Provide training and support to crew members on lift plan execution and safety measures.
- Assist with administrative tasks for sales personnel and support sales-related needs.
- Learn the quoting process to effectively support sales team requirements.
- Perform dispatch duties and responsibilities as needed, ensuring smooth operations.
- **Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in crane operations or lift planning.
- Proficiency in using 3D Lift Plan software is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of crane lift components including spreader bars, rolling blocks, cables, and shackles.
- Experience with intricate crane lifts and a strong grasp of rigging and safety practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- **Preferred Skills:**
- Previous experience in crane operations or heavy equipment lift planning.
- Certification in rigging and lifting operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
