Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
Job Detail
- Perform thorough on-site inspections to identify construction defects and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Review and analyze plans, specifications, and relevant project documents.
- Research material, labor, and equipment costs to develop accurate estimates.
- Create and populate detailed spreadsheets for cost analysis and reporting.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders to provide technical findings and recommendations.
- Prepare professional technical reports and writ10assessments.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure alignment between estimates and project execution.
- Travel in-state to perform inspections and meet with clients as needed.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and professionalism at all times.
- Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of construction work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction practices and processes.
- Hands-on field experience in construction.
- Proficiency with Excel is required. familiarity with RS Means is highly preferred.
- Excellent writ10and verbal communication skills, with proven technical writing ability.
- Licensed General Contractor (GC) or Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) designation is a strong plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel in-state for site inspections and client meetings.
