Job Brief
Solar technologies, a leading bay area solar contractor, is looking for a full time commercial solar electrician.
Salary Detail
$45 – $60 an hour
Experience
Work Experience of 4 Years is required
Job Detail
- Install electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices required for the installation of solar PV systems
- Install inverters, conduit/raceways, and electrical equipment as necessary
- Operation of equipment relevant to installation. I.e. Lifts, Bender, Threader, Puller, etc.
- Troubleshoot installation problems and be able to potential solutions.
- Photovoltaic AC side installation work
- Climbing ladders and working at elevated heights
- Complies with rules and regulations related to safety and other work-related policies and procedures of the, OSHA, NFPA, and NEC.
- Other duties as assigned
- Requirements (Education, Experience, Certifications, And Other Skills)
- Must possess a current and valid Journeyman License Certification.
- Minimum 4 years of electrical installation and repair experience.
- Minimum OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 preferred)
- Strong understanding of the importance of safety policy and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret 1line CAD drawings.
- Knowledge of current NEC/CEC
- Understanding of wire and conduit sizing and how to adjust for environmental factors
- Experience in underground electrical installations.
- Must maintain a clean and valid driver’s license and be able to pass a drug test and background check
