Job Detail
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with local and national plumbing codes.
- Diagnose plumbing issues accurately and efficiently, including leaks, clogs, pipe damage, and fixture malfunctions.
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future problems.
- Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubing with various materials (e.g, copper, PVC, PEX) using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Install and repair water heaters, water softeners, and other plumbing-related equipment.
- Conduct pressure tests on plumbing systems to ensure proper function and identify leaks.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during all plumbing work.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain plumbing problems, proposed solutions, and estimated costs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
- Keep company vehicle and tools clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service calls as required.
- Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. completion of a vocational plumbing program or apprenticeship is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Commercial Service Plumber.
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, equipment, and current plumbing codes.
- Proficiency in using a variety of plumbing tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and climbing.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, and participate in an on-call schedule.
